The black Zirconium Ceramic blade will hold it’s sharp edge about 10 times longer than standard 440 stainless steel knife. You
need to be very careful when using a ceramic blade knife because all ceramic blade are very brittle. If you throw the knife down on a
concrete surface, the blade will shatter like glass as if throwing a ceramic plate onto concrete. The cutting edge of blade is sharper
than a standard steel-blade knife, so this knife is perfect for slicing. Ceramic knives are made for slicing only. Do not use it for
prying, chopping or forcing as it will break or chip off. No returns on used or abused knives.
